plentymarkets: Customise your checkout

The Mollie plugin uses default settings to display payment methods in your checkout.

In addition to customisation features, the plugin offers options to localise your checkout for certain markets.

Change payment method descriptions

You can change the payment method descriptions in your checkout, for example, to provide customers with more information about how the payment methods work.

  1. Log in to plentymarkets.

  2. Go to CMS > Multilingualism.

  3. Select the plugin set.

  4. Select the target and source languages.

  5. Scroll to Mollie.

  6. Expand PaymentMethods and type their payment method descriptions in the respective fields.

  7. Select Icon containing floppy to save settings Save.

  8. To deploy the changes, select Icons containing thin horizontal bar under thick upwards arrow that usually indicates upload, publish or deploy Publish.

Change payment method logos

You can change the logos displayed for payment methods in your checkout so that they match your branding.

  1. Log in to plentymarkets.

  2. Go to Setup > Plugins > [plugin set] and select the plugin set panel.

  3. Open the Mollie setup assistant assistant and select the client shop.

  4. In the setup assistant navigation menu, select the payment method.

  5. In the Payment icon for the webshop panel, click Icon containing three horizontal dots that usually opens a menu when clicked Select file.

  6. Select Icons containing thin horizontal bar under thick upwards arrow that usually indicates upload, publish or deploy Upload file and upload the new logo

  7. Select the new logo's checkbox, and then the Select button.

  8. In the setup assistant navigation menu, click Summary.

  9. Select Finalize.

Hide payment methods based on the order amount

You can set a minimum and maximum order amount for each payment method, for example, to promote the payment method for larger orders. When an order falls outside the limits set, the payment method is hidden in your checkout.

  1. Log in to plentymarkets.

  2. Go to Setup > Plugins > [plugin set] and select the plugin set panel.

  3. Open the Mollie setup assistant assistant and select the client shop.

  4. In the setup assistant navigation menu, select the payment method.

  5. Enter the minimum and maximum amounts in their respective fields.

  6. In the setup assistant navigation menu, click Summary.

  7. Select Finalize.
