Lightspeed eCom: Select an API method

Mollie has two different APIs to process payments:

• The Payments API creates a simple payment for the full order amount.

• The Orders API creates an order that contains the customer's details and order lines for the purchased products. Mollie automatically creates a payment based on the order.

Note

in3 and Klarna payment methods always use Orders API.

To select an API method, follow these steps:

1. Log in to Lightspeed eCom.

2. Go to Apps > Purchased apps.

3. Expand Mollie for Lightspeed eCom and click Go to app to open the General settings page.

4. In the Mollie API type drop-down, select Payments or Orders.

5. Click Save settings.
