WooCommerce: Install and connect Mollie for WooCommerce

Install Mollie for WooCommerce and connect it to your Mollie account to offer your customers a wide variety of payment methods in your store.

What you need to do in advance

• Create a Mollie account

• Make sure your system meets the following requirements:

  • PHP version 7.2 or later

  • PHP extensions enabled: cURL, JSON

  • WordPress 3.8 or later

  • WooCommerce 3.0 or later

Install Mollie for WooCommerce

1. Log in to WooCommerce.

2. Go to Plugins > Add New.

3. Search for Mollie Payments for WooCommerce.

4. Click Install now on the Mollie Payments for WooCommerce tile.

5. In the tile, click Activate now.

Connect to Mollie

Mollie provides you with two API keys to authenticate requests from your store:

• Your test key is available after you set up your Mollie account. Use this key to connect and set up the plugin. You can also use it to test your payment methods and payment statuses.

• Your live key is available after Mollie has approved your account. You can use this key to run your store in live mode and accept real payments.

Use these API keys to connect to Mollie after installing the plugin.

1. Log in to your Mollie Dashboard.

2. Go to Developers > API keys.

3. Copy your API keys.

4. Log in to WooCommerce.

5. Go to WooCommerce > Settings.

6. Select the Mollie Settings tab.

7. Paste the API keys into their respective fields.

8. Select or deselect test mode.

9. Select Save changes.

10. Refresh your browser to make sure that Mollie for WooCommerce retrieves the most recent data from Mollie.
