PrestaShop: Understand Mollie statuses

When customers buy something from your shop, Mollie automatically creates a payment for the order and assigns it a status to indicate its progress. For example, paid, shipping, or expired.

A payment can go through different Mollie statuses depending on the payment method that the customer used, as it defines whether Mollie creates the payment through the Payments API or the Orders API.

Mollie also has statuses for payment processing steps that can take place after a payment was completed, such as refunded.

Mollie-PrestaShop status mapping

The order management area of your PrestaShop Dashboard has its own statuses to indicate an order's progress. The Mollie module automatically translates Mollie payment statuses into PrestaShop statuses to make sure that payments are processed properly.
