PrestaShop: Localise your checkout

The Mollie module uses default Mollie settings to display payment methods in your checkout.

In addition to localisation features, the module offers options to customise the look and feel of your checkout.

Change payment method names

You can change the payment method names in your checkout, for example, to localise them for the countries you operate in.

Notice

To change the name of Apple Pay Direct, follow the procedure described in localise your Mollie for PrestaShop labels.

1. Log in to PrestaShop.

2. Scroll down to Payment methods.

3. Click a payment method to expand it.

4. In the Title field, enter the new name.

5. Select Save.

Rearrange the payment method display order

You can rearrange the display order of payment methods in your checkout so that your customers' favourite payment methods appear at the top of the list.

1. Log in to PrestaShop.

2. Select Mollie > Settings in the left navigation panel.

3. Scroll down to Payment methods.

4. Drag-and-drop the payment methods in your desired order.

5. Select Save.

Display different payment methods in each country

1. Log in to PrestaShop.

2. Select Mollie > Settings in the left navigation panel.

3. Scroll down to Payment methods.

4. Select a payment method to expand it.

5. Define one or more billing countries for the payment method.

   • To allow customers from a billing country to use the payment method, select the country in the Accept payments from field.

   • To exclude customers from a a billing country, set Accept payments from from to All countries, and select the country in the Exclude payments from specific countries field.

6. Select Save.
