PrestaShop: Install and connect Mollie for PrestaShop

Install Mollie for PrestaShop and connect it to your Mollie account to offer your customers a wide variety of payment methods in your shop.

What you need to do in advance

• Create a Mollie account

Install Mollie for PrestaShop

1. Go to the PrestaShop marketplace↗ and download the Mollie for PrestaShop module.

   Note

   The marketplace offers the latest version. For other versions, see the Mollie for PrestaShop release page↗.

2. Log in to your PrestaShop Dashboard and select Modules > Module Manager in the left navigation panel.

3. Click Upload a module.

4. Drag-and-drop the previously downloaded zip file into the Upload a module dialog, or select the file from your device.

5. After the module is installed, click Configure .

Localise your Mollie for PrestaShop labels

You can fine tune your Mollie for PrestaShop installation by localising its user interface in your PrestaShop Dashboard.

1. Log in to PrestaShop.

2. Select International > Translations in the left navigation panel.

   This opens the Translations configuration page.

3. In the Type of translation drop-down list, select Installed modules translations.

4. In the Select your module drop-down list, search for and select Mollie.

5. In the Select your language drop-down list, select the language, and click Modify.

   This opens the translations for Mollie for PrestaShop.

6. Scroll down to Language service, and select it to expand the list of translations.

7. Translate the payment methods as needed.

8. Click Save and stay to save your changes and stay in the module translations, or Save to save your changes and go back to the Translations configuration page.

Connect to Mollie

Mollie provides you with two API keys to authenticate requests from your shop:

• Your test key is available after you set up your Mollie account. Use this key to connect and set up the module. You can also use it to test your payment methods and payment statuses.

• Your live key is available after Mollie has approved your account. You can use this key to run your shop in live mode and accept real payments.

Use these API keys to connect to Mollie after installing the module.

1. Log in to PrestaShop.

2. In the left navigation panel, select Mollie > Settings.

3. Select the Mollie account link under API Key Test to go to your Mollie account.

4. Copy your API keys.

5. Return to your dashboard and paste the keys into their respective fields.

6. Select Save.
