WooCommerce: Customise your checkout

The Mollie plugin uses default settings to display payment methods in your checkout.

In addition to customisation features, the plugin offers options to localise your checkout for certain markets.

Change payment method descriptions

You can change the payment method descriptions in your checkout, for example, to provide customers with more information about how the payment methods work.

1. Log in to WooCommerce.

2. Go to WooCommerce > Settings.

3. Select the Mollie Settings tab.

4. Select Edit next to the payment method name.

5. Type a description into the Description field.

6. Select Save changes.

Change payment method logos

You can change the logos displayed for payment methods in your checkout so that they match your branding.

1. Log in to WooCommerce.

2. Go to WooCommerce > Settings.

3. Select the Mollie Settings tab.

4. Select Edit next to the payment method name.

5. Select the Display logo checkbox

6. Select the Enable custom logo checkbox.

   The Upload custom logo field appears.

7. Click choose file.

   A modal displaying your local file system appears.

8. Navigate to the folder containing the logo file and select it.

9. Click the upload button in the modal.

10. Select Save changes.

Hide payment method logos

You can hide payment method logos from your checkout so that it only displays the payment method names.

1. Log in to WooCommerce.

2. Go to WooCommerce > Settings.

3. Select the Mollie Settings tab.

4. Select Edit next to the payment method name.

5. Deselect Display logo.

6. Select Save changes.

Hide the PayPal Express button based on the order amount

You can set a minimum order amount for PayPal Express. When a customer's order amount is lower than the minimum set, PayPal Express is hidden from your checkout.

1. Log in to WooCommerce.

2. Go to WooCommerce > Settings.

3. Select the Mollie Settings tab.

4. Click Edit next to PayPal.

5. Scroll down to Minimum amount to display button and enter a value.

   The units and currency are your store's defaults.

6. Select Save changes.

Hide the issuer list in your checkout

If you want your customers to pay at a third-party checkout, you can hide the issuer list in your own checkout.

1. Log in to WooCommerce.

2. Go to WooCommerce > Settings.

3. Select the Mollie Settings tab.

4. Select Edit next to the payment method name.

5. Deselect Show [payment method] banks drop-down list.

6. (Optional) Enter the name of an issuer in the Issuers empty option field.

   This text will replace the default Select your bank text.

7. Select Save changes.
