When customers buy something from your store, Mollie automatically creates a payment for the order and assigns it a status to indicate its progress. For example, paid, shipping, or expired.
Set the initial order status
In WooCommerce, you can specify how long you want to hold stock before cancelling an order, for example, because it's still pending payment. With some payment methods, payment takes longer than the period specified. You can change the default initial status of an order to avoid it being wrongly cancelled.
This procedure applies to the following payment methods:
SEPA bank transfers
SEPA Direct Debit
Log in to WooCommerce.
Go to WooCommerce > Settings.
Select the Mollie Settings tab.
Select Edit next to the payment method name.
Scroll down to the Initial order status drop-down list and make sure it is set to On hold.
