Shopware 6: Test payment methods

Mollie App for Shopware 6 lets you make test payments to verify that your payment methods work correctly. You can test every possible payment status for each payment method.

Important

• To test credit/debit cards, you need to use to use the test credentials provided by Mollie.

What you need to do in advance

• Turn on the test mode toggle in the app settings.

Make a test payment

1. Log in to Shopware 6.

2. Go to Extensions > My extensions.

3. Open the Mollie Payments context menu, and select Configure.

4. Go to API and switch on the Test mode toggle.

5. Select Save.

6. Make a test purchase in your Shopware 6 shop.

   While making payment, a selection dialogue appears, enabling you to test various payment statuses.

   

7. Select a payment status and click Continue.

   This takes you to a page that provides information about the payment's status. For example, if you selected Paid, the page confirms a successful payment.
