Magento 2: Go live with Mollie

After setting up your checkout and configuring your settings, you can go live with your store to start accepting real payments.

Note

You can only accept real payments after Mollie has approved your website profile.

What you need to do in advance

• Make sure that you've completed the Mollie signup process.

• Set up the module according to your preferences.

• Test your payment methods to make sure that they work properly.

• Get your live API key from your Mollie Dashboard and follow the steps in Connect to Mollie to ensure that you can switch to live mode.

• If you have a multiple websites or stores, keep in mind that configuration settings apply to all levels of the hierarchy by default. Make sure that you understand how sites, stores, and view scopes work↗, and change the scope↗ if needed.

Switch to live mode

1. Log in to your Mollie Dashboard.

2. Go to Developers > API keys.

3. Copy the live API key.

4. Log in to Magento 2.

5. Go to Stores > Configuration.

6. On the Configuration page, scroll to Mollie, select the arrow, and then General.

7. In the Modus drop-down list under API details, select Live .

8. Paste your live API key in the Live API key field.

9. Click Test API key to ensure your API key is correct.

10. Select Save config.
